The Ally: AI-supported Resource & Process Management Assistant – improving time management, analytics and global staff allocation to strengthen operational efficiency.
As an AI Business Consultant, I led the concept and strategic development of The Ally, an internal AI-powered solution designed to improve efficiency, coordination and resource management across L+R’s global teams.
The organisation faced several operational challenges, including inefficient staff allocation, limited alignment between international project teams, low visibility around project timelines and budgets, and a large volume of repetitive client inquiries that slowed down workflows.
To address these issues, I helped design an integrated resource and process management system connected to an AI assistant. The solution supported intelligent resource allocation, project time management, real-time analytics and workflow automation — enabling teams to collaborate more effectively and make faster, data-driven decisions. Early modelling showed that automating routine coordination tasks could reduce manual workload by 15–20%.
My role included business process analysis, workflow mapping and defining the AI integration strategy to ensure compatibility with existing systems. I evaluated technologies, gathered stakeholder feedback and worked on validating the solution for scalability, usability and cross-team adoption. A concept prototype was developed to demonstrate how staff allocation, project insights and AI assistance could be delivered in a unified interface.
